Today I received two professional publications, including a dedicated spirit of the heatlh sector and marketing company set up other addresses the problem of information. After I read the other parts of contrast, found that one tonight.

I think this is most of us as good, we are considering our school for many years with a lot of discussion and psychological requrires. In fact, we have developed our thinking and talking (and writing) to share experiences. I can tell our thinking and talking, I saw many such phrases,
"… To collect information,"
"… The Committee will meet to discuss,"
"In the planning stage …"
"… More will be considered."
"… More research is necessary."
In contrast marketing information written to do to improve their business. They write about their work in absolute terms. Information marketing mantra is "executed." They are carrying out their duties to meet the target or to create results. In the information marketing 'communication phrases like this:
"… Start a new program."
"Creating a product key …"
"Today [Ron] is a business .."
"[John] made 5 goals .."
You see a pattern?
I am a psychologist, I like to think, speak, read and research for future human behavior abnormalities. It's cool that the big think and talk about it. However, if this is all we have done our business to suffer. Does not exist, we just want to create tangible products and talk about ideas. I get so frustrated when I hear my colleagues are forming a committee to discuss possible do some uncertain future date the possibility of things. Why all the over analysis? (Yes, this is a real problem. I'm not kidding.).
OK, professors give thought and discussion, if you want to be a professor, not a private practice, business model will work for you. However, if you want to be a successful clinician you must take action to generate income. And you can not generate the income to do the same old thing five years ago. Our culture and society has changed so much, we need to put our focus, learning to share our knowledge (new ways to get paid).
So, please continue, think about what you want to practice, with those who can support your plan, teach you how to get there, and then use that information to do. To take action, any action will not do anything because any change in the selection, not grown, not in your pocket more revenue.
